Individual. Comprehensive. Holistic. Authentic Ayurvedic treatments in the East of Sri Lanka.

In the middle of nature, on a lagoon, near the famous Nilaveli Beach - one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in the east of Sri Lanka.

Five years ago Robert Thevarajah, with the support of friends from Europe, established the first authentic Ayurveda centre
in the region around Trincomalee on the north-east coast of
Sri Lanka. The anniversary celebration took place on
12 February 2020. Many thanks to all who have supported us over the last five years, experienced healing in this wonderful place and have given us their trust on the way to better health. We are looking forward to welcoming many familiar and new faces in Nilaveli this year.

Gain more energy for life during Ayurvedic treatment in the Ayurveda Centre Nilaveli and come to our source of health. It is ayurvedic in a comprehensive sense: The medical, nursing, as well as the housekeeping staff places your health at the forefront. As a small centre (ten bungalows), we attach great importance to the personal-individual care and support, and a best possible coordination of the offers for each individual guest. Only exceptionally are guests accommodated, who do not take a cure. The Ayurveda-Centre is under Swiss-Sri Lankan management. High quality standards with regard to offers and accommodation are self-evident. The therapists are from the surrounding area and have basic English skills. Our doctors speak English fluently.

Ayurveda is a traditional teaching on health, originating from the Hindukush (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh). In contrast to western medicine with its focus on the treatment of diseases, Ayurveda focuses on the care and promotion of health: Many people strengthen their immune system through an Ayurvedic treatment, detoxify their organism and perhaps alleviate one or more physical conditions and stress-symptoms. Getting Closer to ones inner self, discovering the enjoyment and health benefits of Deep breathing or reflecting ones own rhythm of life are further motivating factors. The warm, tropical climate of Sri Lanka is particularly suitable for Ayurvedic treatment.
